We present a limited edition of 999 numbered and certified copies of Moira by Josep Maria Subirachs.
To sculpt this magnificent piece, Subirachs was inspired by the Moirai, the goddesses of destiny in Greek mythology.
The work, reproduced in bronze-plated resin, is presented in a natural wooden box that includes the book Subirachs, with texts by Francesc Fontbona, Daniel Giralt-Miracle and Judit Subirachs-Burgaya.
The female head modeled in negative suggests the intimacy of the character and, at the same time, the imprint of an eternally fleeting being. The destiny of people is in the hand of Moira, sculpted in positive, in relief, and integrated into her face.
