Enciclopèdia Catalana Foundation and Finca Bell-Lloc promote a cultural evening dedicated to Jaume Plensa in Palamós.

On July 18, the Finca Bell-Lloc in Palamós will host a cultural evening dedicated to the creative universe of Jaume Plensa, organized jointly by the Fundació Enciclopèdia Catalana and the Finca Bell-Lloc.
The event proposes an experience that combines art, conversation and landscape, taking as a starting point the sculpture Paula, installed in the gardens of Finca Bell-Lloc, and the book Plensa · Macbeth · Verdi, published by Enciclopèdia Art, the art publishing imprint of the Fundació Enciclopèdia Catalana.
The conversation will be led by Pilar Parcerisas, art historian, critic and exhibition curator, one of the country’s leading specialists in contemporary art. The event will be moderated by Joan Ricart, editorial director of Enciclopèdia Art, who will dialogue with Parcerisas around the creative universe of Jaume Plensa, taking as a common thread the sculpture Paula and the book Plensa · Macbeth · Verdi. In a privileged setting, surrounded by vineyards and nature, the session will invite attendees to discover Plensa’s work from a slow, reflective and close look.
The evening will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a glass of Brugarol wine and an aperitif. Participants who wish can complete the experience with a dinner of tapas made with local products and, optionally, stay at Finca Bell-Lloc.
The activity has a capacity limited to 45 people, with the aim of promoting an intimate encounter between attendees, the artwork and its context.
This initiative is part of the shared desire of the Fundació Enciclopèdia Catalana and Finca Bell-Lloc to promote quality cultural experiences that bring contemporary art closer to the public and foster dialogue between creation, heritage, landscape and thought.
