Presentation

Conceived as a continuation of the volume Catalonia, 1900-1980. A History in Photographs , this book offers a historical review of this period, using photography as the fundamental instrument to construct the historical narrative. It features a layout of thematic double-page spreads that seek to integrate and create a dialogue between the photographs themselves and the accompanying text.

This is a comprehensive work in which text and image, in dialogue with each other, constitute an inseparable whole. The most recent period of our history (1980-2015), in photographs. Featuring large-format images from more than 50 of the leading Catalan photographers, such as Pilar Aymerich, Colita, J.M. Alguersuari, Xavier Miserachs, Kim Manresa, Rafael López-Monné, and Jordi Borràs.
