Biography

He began his literary and artistic career very early with multidisciplinary projects of an avant-garde spirit, such as the magazine Tarotdequinze and the collection “Cristalls”, where he published his first book. He later founded the magazines Èczema, Àrtics and Cave Canis. Influenced by J.V. Foix, Palau i Fabre, Vinyoli, and Brossa, he is the author of an extensive poetic work, partially collected in Massa fosca and continued with later books such as Santa follia de ser càntic and Radicals lliures.

In the field of essays and criticism, he has published studies and anthologies on Catalan poetry, as well as a series of books that gather reflections on art, literature, and personal experience. He has developed intense multidisciplinary activity with artists and writers, participated in bibliophile books, and translated authors such as Beckett and Mishima.

In 1990, he founded and directed the KRTU center, which promoted innovative cultural projects and was integrated into the Centre d’Art Santa Mònica in 2009, which he directed until 2013. He curated the Miró Year (1993), for which he received the Ciutat de Barcelona International Projection Award, and other institutional exhibitions and celebrations dedicated to key figures in Catalan culture. He has served as a cultural advisor, participated in cinema, and received various accolades, including the Carles Rahola journalism award (2020).
